Receptionist and Housekeeper Needed

Location: Utako, Abuja

Salary: ₦70,000 per month

Work Schedule: 2 Days On, 2 Days Off

Accommodation: Not provided (staff will sleep in the reception area while on duty).

Job Description

A female Receptionist and Housekeeper is needed to manage guest check-ins and check-outs and help maintain the cleanliness and smooth operation of serviced apartments in Utako, Abuja.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs.

• Respond to guests’ messages and attend to issues relating to the apartments.

• Supervise cleaners to ensure the apartments are properly cleaned.

• Distribute cleaning assignments to cleaners and inspect apartments after cleaning.

• Replenish cleaning supplies when necessary.

• Prepare daily stock reports for bedsheets, towels, and cleaning materials.

• Check apartments before guests arrive and after guests check out.

• Attend to guests with confirmed reservations.

• Check the internet connection using the office phone.

• Monitor air conditioners when guests leave the apartments and switch them off when necessary.

• Arrange chairs, dust furniture, and prepare the apartments and balconies before guests arrive.

• Operate the generator when the inverter is down and refuel the generator when necessary.

• Assist with cleaning when required, particularly after the cleaner’s working hours.

• Cover for other staff members who are absent or unwell.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum of SSCE, WAEC, or NECO qualification.

• At least one year of relevant work experience.

• Must be intelligent, smart, honest, and quick to learn.

• Must be punctual and able to resume work early.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to attend to guests professionally and responsibly.

Important Information

• Female applicants only.

• Work schedule is two days on and two days off.

• No accommodation is provided. The employee is expected to sleep in the reception area while on duty.
